Taco Bell Spices Up Menu with New Tangy Upgrade on Nacho Fries

Taco Bell is introducing a new selection to its menu that sounds like three different items in one.

The chain announced its most recent addition, spicy Buffalo Chicken Nacho Fries, on Thursday, reports People.

The item will make its debut for a limited time. The announcement was made by the Tex-Mex restaurant chain just one week before Super Bowl LIV, the 54th Super Bowl.

The Buffalo Chicken Nacho Fries are an upgrade on the chain’s Nacho Fries, which Taco Bell first introduced in January 2018, with an extended run that began in April of the same year.

The new dish comes topped with shredded chicken, shredded cheese, warm nacho cheese sauce, pico de gallo, and sour cream, and kicked up a notch with a final drizzle of buffalo sauce.

The item will be available at participating Taco Bells for $2.99. Customers may also get them inside a burrito for the same price.

The tangy new offering is brought into the fold after successfully being trialed in Memphis, Tenn. in July 2019.

The Buffalo-drizzled delights will be available at participating locations on Jan. 30.

In December, Taco Bell announced that it will introduce 21 different $1 offerings to its already robust menu in 2020.
