Taco Bell has been receiving some backlash from fans recently, as they have removed a number of fan favorites from the menu.
Already an online petition has gone viral asking for the return of the Mexican Pizza, and plenty have requested the chain bring back their go to menu items as well, Fox News reports.
While Taco Bell hasn’t changed their mind on the cuts, they have decided to bring back another fan favorite that has many excited.
The fast food chain announced this week they will bring back the Cheddar Chalupa, along with a vegetarian version of the taco as well.
Starting November 5, the Cheddar Chalupa will return to the Taco Bell menu for a limited time. As for the vegetarian version, the new black bean Chalupa is certified vegetarian by the American Vegetarian Association (AVA) and has “the craveable flavors of the original.”
Taco Bell says customers can look forward to more vegetarian version of some of their fan favorites in 2021. The fast food chain may be upsetting some with their new limited menu, but are definitely making many happy by bringing back the Cheddar Chalupa. Now they just have to bring back the Mexican Pizza to make everyone happy.
