The littlest royals are being taught all of the things they’ll need to know to grow up in the palace – and that includes prepping for their many trips to foreign countries. Prince George is learning Spanish to prepare for the royal world.
According to Reader’s Digest, it’s recommended that the royals learn multiple languages to make their future travels even easier.
Little George is showing off his phrases, vocabulary, and counting skills in kindergarten while Princess Charlotte spits out a few Spanish words during her preschool lessons.
With Spanish as the second most widely spoken language in the world, it makes sense that George and Charlotte would be trying their hand at the vocab tests early. And it certainly helps that their nanny, Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo, is a native Spanish speaker.
Both Princes William and Charles are talented in the realm of foreign language themselves, knowing five foreign languages between the two of them – French, German, Welsh, Swahili, and Gaelic.
