Kobe Bryant’s Mamba Sports Foundation has been renamed.

Vanessa Bryant announced that the organization received a new name to honor both the NBA legend and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna.

The new name was unveiled in a post on her Instagram account.

“Because there is no #24 without #2,” Vanessa captioned the post, alluding to the jersey numbers of the late Lakers star and his daughter, “we have updated the Mamba Sports Foundation to now be called the Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation.”

“Our mission remains the same – and stronger than ever – to provide opportunities to young people through sports,” Bryant added.

The foundation was founded by the five-time NBA champion and 20-year Los Angeles Lakers player to help enrich the “socio-emotional and physical development” of undeserved communities through sports programs.

The Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation also offers funding for athletes to join school or league teams, as well as sports programs that offer equal opportunities for young female athletes.

More information is slowly trickling about the public memorial on Feb. 24 at Staples Center.

One of the options being considered is selling the tickets to the general public for $24.02 each and giving the money to charity, according to a Friday morning TMZ report.

Last week, Vanessa Bryant announced the time and date for the public Feb. 24 memorial for her late husband Kobe Bryant, daughter Gianna and seven other victims who died in a helicopter crash in Calabasas on the morning of Sunday, Jan. 26.

“More details to come,” she captioned the flyer, which was adorned with purple and yellow butterflies, for the late star’s Lakers team colors.
