Animal lovers are constantly holding in their urge to pet every animal they come across.
While any wild animal can bring a smile to their face, some are better off being viewed, and not touched.
One woman learned this the hard way recently, after attempting to pet a squirrel in the park, Yahoo! reports.
In the video that has since gone viral, the woman is seen reaching out to pet the back side of a squirrel. While everything seems fine at first, the squirrel quickly shoots around scaring the woman, causing her to scream. Luckily, the squirrel just shot the woman a look, and didn’t attack her.
While she was not harmed by petting the squirrel, the woman definitely learned a lesson, as she probably won’t attempt to pet many squirrels in the future. Of course, it will probably be difficult to get that close to one again without it running away. Hopefully the next animal she attempts to pet is much friendlier.
