Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Richard Burr (R-NC) dumped more than $1.5 million in stocks after confidential briefings on the coronavirus.

According to ProPublica, the senior senator unloaded the stocks on Feb. 13, just days before the stock market took a steep drop because of the virus. His decision to sell gained him between $500,000 and $1.56 million.
