Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Central Virginia is looking at its second major ice storm in less than a week. NBC12 Meteorlogist Andrew Freiden says metro Richmond could get slush, snow, and then freezing rain during the day Thursday.
Freiden says the worst impacts, unfortunately, appear headed for the same areas that were hard hit in the Saturday storm, such as Dinwiddie and Nottoway. Freiden says the only possibly saving grace is that a temperature shift could make the storm more slush than ice.
Some places still remain without power from Saturday's storm. Dominion was hoping to finish restoration today.
