Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos to produce 'All My Children' reboot

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos are visiting Pine Valley once again.

The married couple, who met on the set of "All My Children," are attached to the ABC reboot of the classic daytime soap opera.

Variety notes the project is in “early development.”

The current working title is “Pine Valley,” inspired by the fictional suburb that served as a setting for the series.

According to the outlet, the series will be focused on a young journalist with a “ secret agenda” who “comes to expose the dark and murderous history of a town named Pine Valley only to become entangled in a feud between the Kane and Santos families.”

Ripa and Consuelos are set to serve as executive producers.

The couple were longtime cast members on the original soap playing on screen couple Hayley Vaughan and Mateo Santos Sr.

They reprised their characters in multiple episodes in 2010 to celebrate the show’s 40th anniversary.

For now, there are no plans for them to appear in the soap.

After meeting on-set, Ripa and Consuelos wed and welcomed three children: Lola, Michael Joseph, and Joaquin Antonio.

Ripa currently serves as host of “Live with Kelly and Ryan,” while Consuelos plays the devious Hiram Lodge on The CW's “Riverdale.”

Joining the soap drama is Leo Richardson, who will pen the script and executive produce. Robert Nixon, the son of original series creator Agnes Nixon, will also executive produce.

The series debuted in 1970 and ran until 2011. It was briefly revived for an online series in 2013.
