Ticket information has been confirmed for the public memorial in honor of Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna at Staples Center on Feb. 24.
The Los Angeles Lakers tweeted the announcement on their Twitter account, linking to a press release on the NBA's official website.
"Starting today, Friday, February 14 at 11 a.m. PT through Monday, February 17 at 10 p.m. PT fans may register to purchase tickets at https://verifiedfan.ticketmaster.com/kobeandgianna," the statement read.
The tickets will be priced at $224, 2 for $224, and $24.02.
All proceeds will go to the Mamba and Mambacita Sports Foundation.
Vanessa Bryant announced the time for the public memorial one week ago.
The event will begin at 10 a.m.
The date and prices were chosen because they combines 2, daughter Gianna's jersey number, with 24, the last one that Kobe wore.
Kobe Bryant and Gianna were buried Feb. 7 in a private funeral, according to various media reports.
According to ET Online, "ET has learned that a private funeral for the two was held in Corona Del Mar, California, last Friday, two weeks after they died in a helicopter crash alongside seven others. The legendary NBA star is survived by his wife, Vanessa Bryant, and the three other children they shared, Natalia, 17, Bianka, 3, and Capri, 7 months."
E News also confirmed the story.
1010 Wins wrote a story on how Kobe's death certificate was released. They were buried at Pacific View Memorial Park and Mortuary in Corona Del Mar, Calif.
In an Instagram post, Vanessa wrote: "Details to come."
Bryant, Gianna, and seven others died in a helicopter crash Jan. 26 in Calabasas on their way to a basketball game at the Mamba Sports Academy in Thousand Oaks.
The upcoming memorial follows the last two weeks where the public has gathered at L.A. Live and Staples Center to grieve.
The Staples Center has been the location for other public memorials for such luminaries as Michael Jackson and more recently Nipsey Hussle.
