The country's largest beauty chain store Ulta Beauty has worked out a deal with Target, the nation's second-largest discount store retailer.
Ulta will be adding shops inside more than 100 Targets, according to a company release. The new locations should be open by the middle of next year.
The partnership is expected to benefit both retailers, especially since the pandemic has changed shopping habits with more and more people searching for one stop shopping to avoid exposure to others.
Sure, lipstick sales are down because we're all wearing masks, but skincare products are enjoying more rebust sales.
The Ulta shops will be located next to Target's existing beauty aisles and will include Glam-Labs, Ulta's virtual try-on tool.
Combined, both retailers have over 100 Million loyalty program customers.
