Cole Sprouse says it was ‘difficult’ filming ‘Friends’ because of his crush on Jennifer Aniston

Television lovers may know Cole Sprouse for his role as Jughead on “Riverdale,” but previously, the star had made several appearances as Ben, Ross’s son, on the hit show “Friends.”

Other shows the actor has starred in include “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody” and “Big Daddy.”

During an appearance on the “Drew Barrymore Show,” Sprouse discussed some of his earliest memories when working on the “Friends” set. The actor even mentioned why it was a hard time working for the sitcom.

Sprouse revealed that he had a massive crush on Jennifer Aniston and how it was “quite difficult to work in front of her.”

“I was a child, I would stammer a lot, and I would forget my lines,” Sprouse said. “I feel like I’d maintain my composure a bit more effectively now, but it was quite difficult when I was a kid.”

The 28-year-old said his crush was not a secret on the set, and the crew would always tease him about it.

“I was teased a little bit by the crew, because they saw it. I would just forget, and be looking at her,” Sprouse added. “But then, the whole world had a crush on Jennifer Aniston.”

During the interview, Sprouse also talked about the “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody” and mentioned how he and his twin brother Dylan also get asked “all the time” if they would ever do a reboot.

Unfortunately, the answer is no.
