NBA star Blake Griffin becomes latest victim of the insane 'Eric Andre Show'

What Troy Weaver and the Pistons' front office is currently doing with the franchise could be viewed as insanity, but even their flurry of offseason activity seems tame compared to Adult Swim's "The Eric Andre Show."

The "talk show," which isn't much of a talk show at all when you compare it to others, features host Eric Andre and a number of well-known guests going through an awkward, unpredictable, uncomfortable, chaotic — and I could go on with more adjectives — interview. Nudity, complete destruction of the set, cruel and torturous treatment of the guests... it's all fair game, and it's all hilarious.

Dennis Rodman and Roy Hibbert are among the athletes to appear on the bizarre show, and the finale of the show's fifth season, which aired Sunday, featured perhaps its biggest basketball guest yet: current Pistons forward and former slam dunk champion Blake Griffin.

And be prepared — this one's weirder than most. Perhaps a sneak peak to season five will get you ready for what's to come.

The full interview can be seen here, with an appearance from Navy Seal Team 69, questions about if he was named after "Family Guy" characters, and everything in between.

The interview came days after the anniversary of one of Griffin's most ferocious dunks, one which then-Knicks center Timofey Mozgov likely wanted to forget.

We'll assume Griffin similarly wants to forget about his interview with Eric Andre and get back to focusing on basketball, something he was only able to do for 18 games during the 2019-20 season. And with the Pistons in full rebuild, we're not entirely sure whether his road back to the court will begin in Motor City or for a team in playoff contention seeking a forward with huge potential and willing to sacrifice some future assets in order to get Griffin out of Detroit.
