Bears' Allen Robinson clears concussion protocol, to play Sunday against Saints

(670 The Score) Bears top target Allen Robinson cleared the concussion protocol and is set to return for Sunday's game against the Saints.

Robinson, who did not practice this week, was officially listed as doubtful to play as required by concussion protocol rules. However, he is no longer listed with an injury designation.

The 27-year-old Robinson leads the Bears with 44 receptions for 544 yards and two touchdowns this season.

The Bears officially listed Khalil Mack (ankle), Eddie Jackson (knee), Cordarrelle Patterson (quad) and Sherrick McManis (hamstring) as questionable for Sunday's game. Cody Whitehair (calf) was ruled out. Sam Mustipher is expected to start in Whitehair's place at center.

Saints star receiver Michael Thomas (ankle/hamstring) was officially ruled out by New Orleans.

Kickoff between the Bears (5-2) and Saints (4-2) is set for 3:25 p.m. CT Sunday from Soldier Field.
