Philip Rivers announced his retirement from the NFL on Wednesday after 17 seasons in the league, eliciting many to reminisce on his career – which some say should conclude with a Hall of Fame induction.

For Houston Texans pass rusher J.J. Watt, it was not the numbers, accolades or competitive toughness that best exemplified the type of player Rivers was, but rather a quirky pre-snap moment.

Watt shared the moment on Twitter.

After sending the tweet, he also corrected the “cuss” word he dropped – another homage to Rivers who also had a reputation for keeping it clean with his vocabulary.
