If you pegged Philadelphia Eagles' quarterback Carson Wentz as someone more likely to drive a pickup truck than a sports car, you may have been right. With that, though, his Eagles'-themed whip can now be yours.
Barbera Autoland listed Wentz's 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon Coupe, which features an eight-speed automatic transmission, on their website this past Friday. The vehicle has just 3,689 miles on it, and comes with an asking price of $149,984, which is below the retail value of $156,000:
"199 mph, 0-60 in three seconds - I think it's really cool," said Gary Barbara, partner of Barbera Autoland. "I love the Eagles logo. You open the door, and the Eagles logo is (lit up on the ground)."
"It was definitely meaningful because it was probably his first true purchase once he got into the NFL. This is part of him," said Geno Barbera, partner of Barbera Autoland. "He wants to sell it. He wants to do the right thing if he's going to have a family."
Wentz and his wife, Madison, announced in December that they are expecting their first child in the spring. Apparently, even with the four-year/$138 million extension that Wentz signed last June, his car became a cap casualty.
