The Patriots got some good news Sunday morning.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, all Patriots COVID-19 tests taken Sunday morning came back negative. This was necessary following Cam Newton testing positive on Friday.

New England also took tests Saturday, which also came back negative. This is the best-case scenario following Newton testing positive.

Nothing has been finalized on the Patriots' game in Kansas City, but pending the same results Sunday with the Chiefs, it appears the game will be played Monday night and the Patriots will leave Monday morning.

According to ESPN's Dianna Russini, this is what players were told at a team meeting Sunday morning.

The NFL will likely make its decision later in the day.
