If Stephon Gilmore is traded, it looks like the Patriots will be getting a good amount in return.
According to ESPN's Dianna Russini, the Patriots are seeking a first-round pick and a player in exchange for the reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year.
This doesn't come as much of a surprise, as it's not like the Patriots need to trade him now. He's still under contract for next year and if he's not dealt Tuesday, the Patriots could look to trade him again around the draft when there could be even more demand.
It is worth pointing out Gilmore did not play against the Bills this past weekend due to an ankle injury, which could complicate teams being interested in trading for the cornerback.
The deadline is Tuesday at 4 p.m.
