Tom Brady Can Finally Throw and Catch the Ball at the Same Time

Tom Brady’s wife, Gisele Bundchen, once said after the Patriots lost Super Bowl XLVI to the New York Giants that her husband cannot throw and catch the ball.

Now he can. Well, sorta.

The 42-year-old Patriots quarterback posted a video on Twitter Thursday that featured himself in a park throwing the football to, well, himself.

Brady worked a little video editing magic and cloned himself to have a dozen Tom Bradys throwing the ball to each other and catching it — the latter something Brady was unable to do in Super Bowl LII on a trick play against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Brady, who is still fairly new to Twitter — joining the social media platform in April — tweeted the video with the caption “Year 20” as he prepares for his 20th season in the NFL.

The Patriots quarterback recently signed a contract extension to keep him in New England for two more years through the 2021 season.

Despite the extension, it has not stopped speculation that the end could be near for six-time Super Bowl champion quarterback. Brady recently put up his Massachusetts home for sale and is also reportedly house hunting in the New York City suburbs.

Brady also celebrated his 42nd birthday last week, and while his performance on the field has not indicated he has slowed down, he is at an age where few NFL players are still able to compete at a high level.

Brady and the Patriots open the 2019 season at home against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sept. 8.
