Sports Betting: Open Championship Odds for Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, Brooks Koepka

By Eli Hershkovich

Golf’s oldest major tees off for the 148th time on Thursday, but it’s just the second time in Open Championship history that the courses sets up at Royal Portrush Country Club in County Antrim, Northern Ireland.

Rory McIlroy opened as the favorite (+900), in front of Brooks Koepka (10-1), and he’s the only European golfer who’s collected three of four majors. The 30-year-old claimed the Claret Jug in 2014, becoming the seventh golfer in The Open’s history to lead wire-to-wire. He’s finished tied for second, fourth and fifth over the past three years.

Tiger Woods, a three-time British Open champion, possesses the fifth-shortest odds (18-1). He halted an 11-year major drought by winning the Masters in April.

Below are the top odds for the 2019 Open Championship from FanDuel Sportsbook, along with some matched betting props.
