How Tashaun Gipson's Release Affects Texans' Secondary

By SportsRadio 610
(SportsRadio 610) -- With the Texans releasing safety Tashaun Gipson, it raises the questions about what the team is going to do at safety.

They signed Eric Murray and Jaylen Watkins during the offseason, but whether either of them is a starter in this league remains to be seen.

Murray, however, did sign a three-year deal worth up to $20.5 million, despite limited production in his first four NFL seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs and Cleveland Browns.

Could the Texans take a look at Eric Reid, the free agent safety released by the Carolina Panthers and brother of Texans safety Justin Reid?

Is their option already on the roster somewhere?
