Report: Texans OLB Duke Ejiofor Suffers Torn ACL In First Padded Practice At Training Camp

HOUSTON (SportsRadio 610) -- For the second straight season, Texans outside linebacker Duke Ejiofor has suffered a season-ending injury.

Ejiofor, according to the Houston Chronicle, was diagnosed with a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) after being injured at the end of Friday’s practice, which was the Texans’ first in full pads since beginning training camp.

Ejiofor is an Alief Taylor High School product playing for the hometown team.

Last year, Ejiofor tore his Achilles tendon, which forced him to spend the entire season on injured reserve.
