(SportsRadio 610) -- As teams inquire about a possible trade for quarterback Deshaun Watson, the Texans are interviewing Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy.
The Texans, despite being the first NFL team to fire their head coach in 2020, have only one of two head coach openings left in the league.
Five other teams -- the Atlanta Falcons, Jacksonville Jaguars, New York Jets, Los Angeles Chargers and Detroit Lions -- have hired their next coach. Only the Texans' and Philadelphia Eagles' openings remain.
Bieniemy, the Chiefs' offensive coordinator since 2018 and part of last season's Super Bowl winner, has interviewed for every one except the Texans, until Monday.
Meanwhile, the Texans are reportedly having internal conversations about what life without Watson would look like, according to ESPN.
NFL Network reported Monday teams have been inquiring about Watson, though the team has not shown a desire to trade him.
