HOUSTON (SportsRadio 610) -- The Texans are adding a wide receiver to the practice squad.
Artavis Scott, a former teammate of Deshaun Watson's at Clemson, was officially added to the practice squad Wednesday.
The move comes just one day after the Texans waived wide receiver and kick-punt returner DeAndre Carter, who was largely ineffective for the team.
Scott has spent most of the the last four seasons since Clemson on practice squads and injured reserve. The 5'11", 195-pound wideout signed with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent in 2017, where he was off-and-on the practice squad until this year.
Scott signed a reserve-future contract with the Indianapolis Colts in January, but was waived Sept. 3.
