Riding in the back of a truck, being gone all day on your bicycle, even climbing to the top of a tree. Our parents used to let us do a lot of things that we wouldn't necessarily be able to get away with today.
Over the weekend Jenn and her family were hanging out and one of her daughters was curious about the taste of a beer, which she was going to oblige because she knew that her daughter wouldn't like it and didn't see a problem with her knowing that it didn't taste good. Grant, her husband, shut this down real quick stating that she was still too young to even taste alcohol.
How do you feel about this? I don't think this would've been an issue for most people "back in the day", but times do seem to change...
