Bartending With Beau: Red, White, and Booze!

Red, White, and Booze

• 2 oz of your favorite vodka
• 2 oz cranberry juice
• 2 oz soda/seltzer water (to get really boozy, substitute your favorite hard seltzer!)
• 5-10 blueberries

Fill a clear glass or cup with ice (a red cup works well too, but you won't see all of the colors). Add vodka and cranberry juice. Top with soda/seltzer and garnish with blueberries! (To make it really pretty, layer the blueberries in the glass in between ice, or carefully push them down in to the drink with a straw) Cheers!

Independance Lemonade 

• 2 oz of your favorite vodka
• 2 oz lemonade
• 1 oz blue curacao
• 1 oz grenadine

Pour grenadine in to bottom of a clear glass. Fill with ice. mix vodka and lemonade together in a seperate container, then slowly add to grenadine and ice (if you're having difficulty layering, try pouring over the curved side of a spoon in to glass). Slowly pour blue cuuracao on top, or use spoon method. Cheers!

Sparkler Sangria (Making a pitcher and giving yourself time for the sangria to marinate is recommended, but can also be made as a single serve)

• 1 bottle dry white wine (2 oz for single serve)
• 1 bottle sparkling white wine, I recommend prosecco, but champaigne will work too! (2 oz for single serve)
• Any combination of blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries, have fun with it!
• Thinly sliced apple pieces (want to get really fancy? cut them in to stars)
• 10 oz brandy or cognac (1 oz for single serve)

Stir together dry white wine, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and brandy/cognac in pitcher or glass. Cover, and let marinate in refridgerator over night. Short on time? An hour or two will work. When you are ready to serve, stir in sparkling white wine and apple pieces. Pour over ice, stir, and enjoy! Cheers!
