As Ryan Reynold's heads back to work on Netflix's "Red Notice," he's playing it safe by getting a coronavirus test before interacting with others.
The Netflix movie also stars Dwayne Johnson and Gal Gadot and has resumed filming after being shut down in March as a result of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Now, actors must take extra steps before diving back in.
Various new measures are being taken on set, one of which is a coronavirus test, which Reynolds was happy to share his experience with.
"The Covid Test is quick and easy. The doctor places the swab up your nose, just deep enough to tickle your childhood memories and then it's over," he wrote alongside a series of images of the process.
In jest, Reynolds continued, "No matter what you say to him, he won't buy you dinner first."
The images, taken by wife Blake Lively, show Reynolds just before the swab went in, after the swab was inserted, and after the swab was removed from his nose. His facial expression is telling of the mildly uncomfortable experience.
Similarly, costar Gadot posted her photos to Instagram as well, showing off her own experience with the coronavirus test on set.
"Getting ready to head back to the 'Red Notice' set but prep looks a little different now," she wrote.
Meanwhile, Johnson recently revealed on his social media pages that he and his family had all tested positive for the coronavirus and were now recovering from their illnesses.
"I wish it was only me who tested positive, but it wasn't. It was my entire family. So this one was a real kick in the gut," he explained.
He then went on to encourage everyone to take proper precautions against the virus. "Stay disciplined. Boost your immune system. Commit to wellness. Wear your mask. Protect your family. Be strict about having people over your house or gatherings. Stay positive. And care for your fellow human beings," he captioned the post.
