Those who are skilled in the makeup world are taking to social media with the latest quarantine trend called the #TinyFace challenge.
Essentially, people are covering their mouths and using their noses as a canvas for a "new face." Using makeup products, they are able to draw a more cartoonish looking version of themselves.
With the bottom of their noses as a guide, participants are painting the illusion of a nose and mouth on top of the uncovered half of their faces, creating what appears to be a tinier version of their own faces.
People are using the hashtags #TinyFace, #TinyFaceChallenge, and #TinyFaceMakeupChallenge. Some of the results have come out rather disturbing while many air on the side of hilarious.
Some artists have even gotten super creative, using their facial piercings as a guide while creating their masterpieces.
The challenge comes on the heels of other social media challenges, many stemming from the social media platform TikTok. From wacky dances to games of Never Have I Ever with parents, social media enthusiasts are finding unique ways to spend their quarantine downtime.
