(Talk1370.com) -- Some beer drinkers are thinking twice when walking down the beer aisle at the store, or ordering a pint at their favorite bar - at least when it comes to Corona beer.

According to a telephone survey of 737 American beer drinkers conducted by 5W Public Relations earlier this week, 38 percent of the respondents said they would not buy Corona under any circumstances.

Among those who said they usually drink Corona, only 4% said they would stop drinking Corona, but 14% said they wouldn't order Corona in a public venue.

16% of those surveyed were confused as to whether Corona beer has any link to the coronavirus.

Constellation Brands, the beer's parent company, said in a statement that customers "understand there is no link between the virus and our business."
