DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The "Playmaker" Michael Irvin is always ready to drop gold during his visits with Shan and RJ on 105.3 The Fan.

Irvin didn't disappoint on Thursday as he told a story about the time Cowboys owner Jerry Jones asked him if they should acquire Deion Sanders?

"When he brought on players ... Deion Sanders (for example). Jerry and I met on that. Jerry said to me, 'I won't do it. I won't do it if you tell me not to do it.' He said, 'right now, what do we do?' I'm like, 'Jerry you got to get him, alright? What do you think you want to do?' I was like, 'no, no, we're going to do this.'

Jones ended up signing Sanders to a five-year deal and the rest is history.
