The Washington Nationals got beaten around on the field Tuesday night, and then it spilled over into the stands.

According to citizen reporters around Nationals Park, there were multiple Phillies and Nationals fans who were ejected for fighting.

The Washington Post's Sam Fortier caught the aftermath of this brawl between a Phillies fan that had reportedly already been ejected vs. a Nats fan who flagged him on the way out:

Philadelphia sports fans have a reputation for instigating fights, but this is a bit unusual for D.C. sports fans.

It could be that this rivalry takes on new meaning after the Bryce Harper defection and the high emotions experienced in his first game back.
