Wizards have addressed their need at point guard, reportedly signing veteran Ish Smith Monday morning.
The deal is for two years and $12 million, per The Athletic's Shams Charania.
Smith’s contract is guaranteed and his $6 million annual salary comes out of the team’s non-taxpayers mid-level exception ($9.2)

Smith, 30, spent the last three seasons with the Pistons and is heading into his tenth NBA season. He has career averages of 7.4 points, 3.8 assists, and 2.4 rebounds per game. The Wizards needed a playmaking guard with
John Wall set to miss most, if not all, the 2019-20 season with
an Achilles injury.
Satoransky spent the last three seasons with Washington after the Wizards drafted him in 2012. The Czech guard will now reunite with fellow ex-Wizard Otto Porter in Chicago.
