Josh Norman: I'd take Guice over Barkley

Redskins running back Derrius Guice was selected 57 players after Giants rookie Saquon Barkley, the second overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.

By most accounts, the Redskins got a steal in Guice at 59, maybe even the steal of this year's draft. According to Jay Gruden, at one point, the Redskins thought "he might be the first player picked in the draft." And the 21-year-old has already stomped out those 'character concerns' at every possible turn.

Josh Norman, too, is a Guice believer. Joining NFL Network's "Inside Training Camp Live" last week, Norman made a bold statement as footage of Barkley rolled.

"We've got a guy here from LSU that's pretty special, that you can put in the same position as that guy, and he can do some real amazing things," Norman said. "I'd take him (Guice) over him (Barkley)."

The Redskins face the Giants in Week 8. Maybe by then we'll know a little more about which player was more deserving of a first-round selection.
