All around the NFL the cuts are coming and the Washington Redskins have to trim their preseason roster of 90 players to a final roster of just 53 players by 4 p.m. ET Saturday.

With the fourth preseason game behind us, some 1,200 players will be out of a job. It is the cruel nature of professional football.

With the deadline coming, which players have the Redskins already sent players have already been dismissed?

Defensive Lineman Austin Maloata, an undrafted player out of Austin Peay, has been released, Hoffman confirmed.

Wide receiver Josh Doctson has not been released, but the team is looking to either trade or cut him Saturday, per Ian Rapoport and confirmed by Hoffman.

Source says WR Robert Davis has made the #Redskins.Confirming @RapSheet that they're working on a Doctson trade. Nobody is biting on him, but he's played his last down in a Redskins uniform.

#Redskins releasing veteran G Hugh Thornton, per a league source. Think @john_keim had that one first, too.Almost 100% it'll be 9 on the OL and the 9 are clear cut. Bergstrom the last one to make it. Could be come 10 if a large, athletic man who wears #71 returns.
