The Washington Redskins are looking to snap a seven-game losing streak dating back to the end of the 2018 season when they travel to the Miami Dolphins Sunday.
However, if the Redskins are to
end their losing ways for interim head coach
Bill Callahan they will do so without tight end Vernon Davis (concussion), tight end Jordan Reed (concussion), linebacker Josh Harvey-Clemons (hamstring), guard Wes Martin (chest), and safety/special teams ace Deshazor Everett (ankle.) (The Redskins placed
Reed on the Injured Reserve list Saturday.)
But the big news came when Callahan named
Case Keenum the starting quarterback Friday with rookie
Dwayne Haskins serving as the backup ahead of veteran
Colt McCoy.
Callahan says Keenum earned that and is the captain of the team. Haskins being the backup comes down to him being one snap away and preparing as such. Want him to be ready and that role keeps him sharper throughout the week.

October 11, 2019 Washington listed left tackle Donald Penn (hamstring) as questionable with a hamstring injury, after he missed practice and was limited earlier in the week, however, he was a full participant on Friday. Penn is in for Trent Williams, who remains away from the team.
#Redskins injury report is a doozy:Vernon Davis is out as expected. Same with Reed, Martin and Josh Harvey-Clemons.Special teams captain Dashazor Everett is also out with an ankle injury he sustained yesterday’s during practice. #WASvsMIA

October 11, 2019 The Redskins had a number of other regular contributors listed on the report after missing time during the week, but all are expected to play. This group is headlined by guard Brandon Scherff (ankle) and center Chase Roullier (knee), who both missed game action in the last few weeks, but were full participants during this week of practice. Right tackle Morgan Moses, who was a limited participant earlier in the week, is expected to play after sustaining a shoulder injury in Week 5 action against the Patriots.
On the other side, the Dolphins listed 11 players as questionable including WRs Jakeem Grant and Albert Wilson, CBs Xavien Howard and Chris Lammons, and safeties Reshad Jones and Bobby McCain.
