Soto's Soreness?

Juan Soto came down with a mysterious elbow injury — which is said to be a sore elbow — that's caused him to miss five straight games. With the Nationals so far out of it, it hurts as a fan to not see Soto, one of the few bright spots of this season, in the lineup.

Scherzer's Back In Form

After going hitless in his first four games with the Nats, leaving many to wonder why he was even added to the roster, Brock Holt is suddenly pouring it on. The veteran infielder has exploded with 10 hits over what is now a four-game hit streak, averaging .625 at the plate in that span, bringing his season average with Washington to .385 in eight games.
