Los Angeles Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey may have softened his stance on Josh Allen earlier this week, but the Buffalo Bills quarterback emphatically reassured Ramsey that he is anything but “trash.”

Allen tossed four touchdowns and ran for another, completing 24-of-33 passes for 311 yards as he led the Buffalo Bills to a thrilling 35-32 victory over the Rams in Week 3 to improve to 3-0.

The Rams did everything they can to ruin the Allen’s day, coming back from a 28-3 deficit to take a 32-28 late fourth quarter lead.

But Allen led an 11-play, 80-yard drive and found tight end Tyler Kroft for a go-ahead 3-yard touchdown pass to go up 35-32 with 21 seconds remaining in the game.

Ramsey held up his end of the bargain by only allowing one reception, however, that reception just so happened to be a touchdown to Stefon Diggs.

Ramsey admitted earlier this week that Allen was a “talented” quarterback who “presents challenges” in an attempt to walk back his comments made to GQ in 2018, in which he ripped a handful of quarterbacks in the league, including Allen.

Ramsey, who was with the Jacksonville Jaguars at the time, said Allen was “trash and it’s gonna show too. That’s a stupid draft pick to me.”

It is not the first time the two have met since those comments, though.

Allen and the Bills beat Ramsey and the Jaguars on Nov. 25, 2018 when Allen rushed for 99 yards and a touchdown, although struggled through the air, completing just 8-of-19 passes for 160 yards and a touchdown.

This time, Allen left no doubt about it. Through three weeks, the Bills quarterback has now thrown 10 touchdowns and rushed for two and has just one interception, although he’s lost three fumbles now.

It is a far cry from "trash," and not such a far cry from MVP.
