Former Eagles head coach Doug Pederson has spoken to the Seattle Seahawks about their open offensive coordinator job, according to an NFL Network report.
The interest from the Seahawks is the first known interaction that Pederson has had with a team since being fired by the Eagles this past Monday. It is still possible Pederson receives interest from teams looking for a head coach, but the available jobs are shrinking fast.
The Seahawks could be an attractive landing spot for Pederson. Not only did he grow up just outside of Seattle, but he would get a chance to work with an elite quarterback for the fist time in his career in Russell Wilson.
If Pederson did have hopes of landing another head coaching job, working in Seattle with Wilson could be the fast track to a job in 2022.
As for the Eagles, their search for a new head coach continues, with 11 known candidates. You can check out the full list here.
