It finally happened!
It took until Week 12, but the Washington Football Team and offensive coordinator Scott Turner finally let tight end Logan Thomas sling it.
And sling it he did, a 28-yard dart to Terry McLaurin on a little razzle dazzle play on Thanksgiving Day in Washington's 41-16 beatdown of the Dallas Cowboys.
That was very back-yard football and you love to see the former quarterback at Virginia Tech get to show off his arm.
Thomas is now the fourth member of the Washington offense to complete a pass this season, joining quarterbacks Dwayne Haskins, Kyle Allen, and Alex Smith.
Of course, the completion actually lowered Thomas’ impressive stats.
Tress Way should be warming up his arm, he could be number five if Washington decides to run a fake punt anytime soon.
Washington would cap the drive with an Antonio Gibson touchdown run to make it 7-3 in the first quarter.
