The Washington Wizards added a trio of players and a draft pick from the Los Angeles Lakers in a salary-dumping move.

The Lakers are sending their 2022 second-round draft pick and Moritz Wagner, Jemerrio Jones and Isaac Bonga to the Wizards in order to help facilitate Los Angeles' acquisition of Anthony Davis from the New Orleans Pelicans, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

The Lakers are trading Mo Wagner, Isaac Bonga and Jemerrio Jones to Wizards as part of the Anthony Davis deal with New Orleans, league sources tell @ZachLowe_NBA and me. Deal clears contracts and creates more cap space for free agency.

Before the 2018 NBA Draft, the Wizards "raved about" Wagner, Chase Hughes of NBC Sports Washington told Chad Dukes.

According to David Aldridge, the Wizards will send cash to the Lakers to complete the deal.

Wizards sending cash to Lakers in their end of the deal that will bring Wagner, Bonga and Jones to D.C., per sources. Wagner the biggest name but Washington very pleased to be getting Bonga as well.
