It is no secret that the Miami Dolphins finished last season strong. But perhaps nobody has come out more bullish on the team than Peter King.
King joined the Joe Rose Show Tuesday morning and came out of the gate strong.
“The AFC is fascinating because you’ve got about four or five teams that nobody really knows about," said King. "I count Miami in there. "They will be at the top of the heap because Miami could win 10 games.”
The AFC East has never been more wide open than it is heading into the 2020 season. The Patriots lost Brady and the Jets have been a mess.
“If I had to pick, it will be Miami or Buffalo who will win the division,” said the long-time NFL analyst.
Ryan Fitzpatrick is slated to be the starter, but it also remains a possibility that Tua Tagovailoa could see some playing time early on.
"In my opinion, if Tua is ready you play him, you know he’s your quarterback of the future," King said. "The logic says no, but it’s an odd time and if you play for Saban you should walk into the NFL more pro-ready.”
Hearing Peter King this bullish on the Dolphins has to be very exciting for fans as camp begins to get rolling in Davie.
