Teacher Uses Stimulus Money To Feed Student’s Families
Milton Pierce knew exactly what he wanted to do with his stimulus money when he got it. He’s a teacher at Milton Hershey School in Pennsylvania and he decided to spend it to help his students and their families, and set a good example in the process.
Pierce says he saw a need to support his students’ families and he wanted to try to solve one day’s worth of problems for them. So he used his stimulus payment to buy Uber Eats gift cards to provide the families with a meal.
“Whatever situation that they begin with is not the situation they have to end in,” the teacher says. “And along the way, you can do good things for other people.”
