This week on On Point with Juandolyn Stokes, author Michelle Lovette joined Juandolyn for some Sister Talk about her book, My Pain Became My Character and her docuseries, Life Love and Lock Up Vol 2, which she said was an idea given to her by God.
For the first time in history, James Thompson was the the first brother on Sister Talk; he is a participant in the docuseries that shares the stories Black of men. The docuseries focuses on how events in the lives of these men that happened when they were young, contributed to their character now.
Thompson said revisiting the events in his life was "scary, but I'm thankful for it."
