New Georgia Senators Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff are being credited with helping pave the way for passage of President Joe Biden's $1.9 Billion dollar COVID-19 relief agreement.

The newly sworn in democrats were among senators voting 'yes' Friday on the Biden deal which provides $1,400.00 to those earning less than $50,000.00 and $2,800.00 per couple earning under $100,000.00.

Warnock told Radio.com's Maria Boynton that the relief needs to be "urgent,  quick, and equitable."

Warnock also spoke about being Georgia's first Black U.S. Senator, the committees to which he's been  appointed, and the atmosphere inside the U.S. Capitol since the January 6th insurgency.
