Dr. Mehmet Oz, host of The Dr. Oz Show came on The Rashad Richey Morning Show to discuss the emergence of "Covid-19 scams" and the airing of episode 2,000. There are companies scamming people into paying for vaccines. Dr. Oz says, if someone is asking you to pay, it's a scam. All Covid-19 vaccines are free.

Dr. Oz also updated Dr. Richey on the #MoreBlackDoctors movement, which emphasizes the need and benefits associated with having more Black doctors in the profession. Many in the Black community remain skeptical of the Covid-19 vaccination. Dr. Oz acknowledged that this skepticism comes from historical occurrences unique to African-Americans in relationship to unethical and illegal experimentation done on Blacks in the name of vaccine science.

Dr. Oz also pointed out the overwhelming positive aspects of the available Covid-19 vaccines on the market and said the risks are small compared to the benefits. Both Oz and Richey agreed there needs to be more trust building in the Black community to break down the current barriers that exist.
