Could Robert Saleh be the next Falcons head coach?

Andy Bunker and Randy McMichael were asked if they think San Francisco’s defensive coordinator Robert Saleh is a serious candidate to become the Atlanta Falcons next head coach. Saleh, who is in his fourth year with the 49ers, is also being linked to the head coaching job for the Detroit Lions which became available this weekend after Matt Patricia was fired.

Bunker and McMichael emphasized that they don’t have a preference on if the next head coach for the Falcons is offensive or defensive minded and that they want a “leader of men” as the next coach.

Take a listen to hear why else Saleh might be a good fit in Atlanta.

The Falcons host the New Orleans Saints on Sunday afternoon at 1pm. Pregame coverage on 92.9 The Game starts at 11am.
