CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- As the number of COVID-19 cases grow across Illinois, testing for the virus is becoming available at locations throughout the Chicago metropolitan area.
There is one community-based testing center in Chicagoland, which is located at 6959 W. Forest Preserve Road in Chicago, according to the Illinois Department of Public Health.
A second one was added Friday, April 3 at Roseland Community Hospital, located at 45 W 111th St. The hospital is offering drive-through testing to anyone experiencing symptoms, who has traveled to a hotspot, or has been in contact with someone who has tested postive.
There are three testing sites operated by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services sites in Chicagoland that are prioritized for healthcare workers, first responders and seniors 65 and older with symptoms of the coronavirus.
