Northwest Side COVID-19 Testing Site Expands To Serve Adults With Symptoms, People Over 60 With Health Issues

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- A drive-thru COVID-19 testing site on the city's Northwest Side is expanding to serve the general public.

Starting Saturday, The Harwood Heights testing site, 6959 Forest Preserve Dr., is open to anyone 18 and older showing symptoms of the virus and anyone over 60 with underlying medical issues, regardless of symptoms, the Chicago Fire Department announced Friday.

The site will be open every morning starting at 7:30 a.m. every day and will plan to test 500 people a day.
