
CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- A hot-air balloon had to make an emergency landing near northwest suburban Huntley early Wednesday after a passenger lost consciousness.
Huntley Fire Protection District Deputy Chief Al Schlick told the Daily Herald the woman had regained consciousness by the time an ambulance arrived.
The woman was transported to Northwestern Medicine Huntley Hospital. Schlick said her condition was nonlife-threatening. Her identity was not released.
It's unknown how many people were aboard the balloon at the time.
