OAK PARK (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Police in west suburban Oak Park are asking people for video from surveillance cameras in the area where two lawyers were murdered last week.

Police Chief LaDon Reynolds is requesting video from a week before the murders of 69-year-old Thomas Johnson and Leslie Ann Jones, 67.

They were found stabbed to death in their home in the 500 block of Fair Oaks Avenue on April 13. Police would like to see video from surrounding streets.

“Part of the investigative process is not only to examine the scene, but also to look beyond the incident for movements in the area that might offer clues that can help solve this heinous crime,” Reynolds said.
