(WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Stocks closed sharply lower Friday as investors grew increasingly concerned about the potential economic impact of the quickly spreading coronavirus.

The S&P 500 lost 58, the NASDAQ shed 148 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average closed down over 600 points, settling to 28,256.

"At some point you would have expected the market to pullback," Chuck Carlson, CEO of Horizon Investment Services, says.

Carlson noted that he currently finds technology, healthcare and banking stocks attractive at current levels.
